The upcoming Baywatch reboot has just earned 4 new trailers ahead of the release of Stephen Amell‘s TV show. Fox has released four new character profile teasers for the reboot, which is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
The 12-episode modern update is led by showrunner Matt Nix (Burn Notice). It features classic franchise elements like red swimsuits, slow-motion beach running, and high-stakes rescues.
In the forthcoming series, Amell stars in the series lead role of Hobie Buchannon, a wild child from the original series and now a Baywatch Captain, who follows in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch.
Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie (played by Jessica Belkin), the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad.
