Whereas, the last date for submission of application fee is 23 September 2026.
Educational qualification for Hindi translator post
The candidate must have prescribed educational qualification related to Hindi and English subject as per recruitment rules. It consists of various prescribed academic combinations including MA in English with Honors in Hindi, MA in Hindi with Honors in English, Bachelor of Laws with Hindi Hons.
Apart from this, the candidate must have at least 3 years of work experience as a translator in a government or semi-government institution or a reputed daily newspaper. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of proofreading and interest in literary works.
Age should be between 18 to 37 years
Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2026. The age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years. Reserved categories and departmental employees will get the benefit of age relaxation as per rules.
Applications will be accepted through online mode only. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to deposit Rs 1,000, while SC and ST category candidates will have to deposit Rs 500 as application fee.
Written exam will be of 100 marks
Candidates will be selected for recruitment on the basis of written examination. The exam will be of total 100 marks and you will get 90 minutes to solve it. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the examination.
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-6 as per 7th CPC, i.e. pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.
