According to the report of Cricbuzz, the fast bowler was given permission to play in the Pakistan Super League from April 26 to April 12 and then from April 24 to May 3. However, now Bangladesh Cricket Board has withdrawn the no-objection certificate issued regarding his playing in PSL. According to reports, the board has taken this decision due to medical reasons. This decision of BCB is being considered as a big blow for Pakistan Super League.

BCB issued statement

Bangladesh Cricket Board issued an official statement on Thursday saying that after the third ODI against New Zealand, the team’s medical staff has reviewed the condition of fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman. He will immediately undergo a scan for further investigation, after which he will start the rehabilitation process under the supervision of the BCB medical team.

Taking its point further, the board made it clear that for this reason the no-objection certificate issued earlier has been withdrawn. Apart from this, BCB has confirmed in another decision that young fast bowler Nahid Rana will also not be released for Pakistan Super League 2026.
