The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) met on Thursday in Mumbai. There was also to be a discussion about Rohit's future. Now news is coming out that Rohit Sharma is part of the plan for World Cup 2027. Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill, T20 captain Shreyas Iyer, Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir and Center of Excellence head VVS Laxman were present in the BCCI review meeting. Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar could not attend the meeting as he was not in Mumbai.
There is no threat in place of Rohit Sharma
According to the report of Cricbuzz, there is no threat to Rohit Sharma's place in the Indian team. There was speculation about him that he would not be seen playing in the World Cup 2027, but now these speculations can be put to an end. The report claims that after the review meeting, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that you all know how brilliantly he is playing.
Recently, India played a three-match ODI series against England. Team India had to face defeat by 1-2 in the series. Rohit did not score runs in the first two matches. After the flop in the second match, media reports had claimed that the third ODI match to be played at Lord's could prove to be the last match of Rohit's career. However, Rohit scored a century in the third match and these rumors were put to rest for some time.

Rohit will be seen in the series against West Indies
