BCCI will take Vaibhav Suryavanshi to the highest level of cricket, big statement of Secretary Devjit Saikia
Delhi: BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia is very happy with the tremendous performance of Vaibhav Suryavanshi in IPL 2026. He has praised this young left-handed batsman a lot. Saikia said that the board will provide all possible help to the 15-year-old player to reach the “highest level of cricket”.
Let us tell you that in this season of IPL, Suryavanshi hit a lot of fours and sixes. Suryavanshi was the highest run-scorer in IPL 2026. He scored a total of 776 runs in 16 matches at an excellent strike rate of 237.30, which included one century and 5 half-centuries. On the basis of this strong performance, Suryavanshi won many big awards including Orange Cap.
Saikia became a fan of Suryavanshi’s dangerous batting
Saikia said in his statement regarding Suryavanshi after the conclusion of the IPL final,
‘Vaibhav Suryavanshi is emerging as an excellent player and his future is very bright. BCCI will make every possible effort to take him to the highest level of cricket.
Saikia congratulated RCB for becoming champion
With this, Saikia congratulated Rajat Patidar’s team for becoming champion for the second consecutive time. He said, ‘It was a great season. I hope all the fans enjoyed a lot during this IPL and many congratulations to RCB for winning the tournament twice in a row.

Suryavanshi will be seen on Sri Lanka tour
Let us tell you that Suryavanshi will now be seen in action during the triangular series to be held in Sri Lanka. He has got a place in the India A squad. This tour of India will start from June 9, which will end on June 21. In this series there will be a clash between the teams of India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
