Because of Trump’s threat! Angry Iran broke the peace meeting, shocked Pakistan
The US and Iran held peace talks in Switzerland on Sunday mediated by Pakistan and Qatar. The first meeting is over. But how positive it is, questions have already started to arise. Because, due to threats from US President Donald Trump, Iranian representatives left the meeting after 80 minutes, according to several media sources. Pakistan is also shocked by the whole incident.
A few days ago, Iran and America signed an MoU to bring permanent peace to West Asia. But representatives of the two countries met on Sunday at a resort in Bergenst, Switzerland, to implement and review the 14-point terms of the agreement. US Vice President Donald Trump was leading the US delegation. On the other hand, the Iranian delegation was led by that country’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghachi. According to sources, the first 80 minutes of the discussion were completed smoothly. But then a break is taken. The two sides were supposed to meet again after the break. But in the meantime, the US President threatened Tehran by raising the issue of Lebanon. “If Iran-backed Hezbollah and other groups in Lebanon do not stop the unrest, Iran will be attacked again. And this attack will be bigger, stronger than before,” he said. Angry Iranian representatives left the meeting immediately after Trump’s attack. However, it is known that the peace meeting did not collapse completely. The two sides will discuss again on Monday.
The meeting was highly significant in the context of the recent conflict. US Vice President Vance, sitting in a meeting with Iranian representatives, claimed that significant progress has been made in various areas during the meeting. However, differences remain on issues such as Lebanon and the Strait of Hormuz. Not only that, he also delivered Trump’s message. “Washington is ready to improve relations with Tehran as diplomacy moves forward. Meaningful diplomatic deals require compromise and sustained effort,” he said.
It should be noted that the MoU has been signed on 14 conditions aimed at Iran-US peace. Notably, the war will stop in the rest of the Middle East, including Iran and Lebanon. Israel and America will guarantee that there will be no new war. America will lift the blockade from Hormuz. Iran will also open Hormuz. Sanctions on Iranian ships will be lifted. 24 million dollars confiscated from Iran will be returned. Sanctions will be lifted from Iran. Withdrawal of troops from around Iran within 30 days. And most importantly Iran will not build nuclear weapons. Discussions will continue on the future of 60 percent enriched uranium.
