After the Genji movement in Delhi, BJP lost two of the three assembly by-elections. The BJP top leadership did not hold the Genji movement responsible for this defeat, but the Chief Ministers of BJP in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur seem to be concerned about the possible impact of this movement on the future elections. This is the reason why now work has started at a rapid pace on making plans keeping the youth in mind.
On the other hand, Cockroach Janata Party chief Abhijeet Deepke, who led the Genji movement, is preparing to go among the public again. Even though they are saying that the aim of their movement is not to benefit any political party, but political analysts believe that this movement will benefit the anti-BJP parties. In such a situation, in order to make Deepke's movement anywhere successful among the public, young workers of parties like Congress, SP, RJD etc. will participate in it without the party flag and banner and will not hesitate to call themselves cockroaches.
Although the dialogue started by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat with Gen G and Gen Alpha will definitely benefit the BJP, but only time will tell to what extent. BJP is in power in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, while Aam Aadmi Party is in power in Punjab. BJP is working hard to form government for the third consecutive time in Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Uttarakhand. BJP has won three consecutive elections in Goa since 2012. A strategy is being made to score a victory.
More than 260 people were killed in the violence that broke out between the majority Meitei and tribal Kuki-Jo communities in Manipur, while more than 60 thousand people were rendered homeless. Although there is peace now, there are often clashes between small groups of both the communities. This time in the elections, the opposition parties of BJP will make this violence an issue, while the ruling party will have to find a solution to it.
Talking about Uttar Pradesh, in 2017, BJP had won 312 seats, its ally Apna Dal S had won nine and SubhaSP had won four seats, while SP had to be content with 47 seats and its ally Congress had to be content with seven seats, but in the 2022 elections, SubhaSP had gone with SP, while Nishad Party had joined the BJP alliance.
BJP's seats were reduced from 312 to 255, while ally Apna Dal got 12 seats and Nishad Party got six seats. In 2023, when Subha SP again joined hands with BJP, RLD also left SP and started joining hands with BJP. BJP wants SubhaSP, Nishad Party, RLD, Apna Dal to be with it in the 2027 elections so that the path to victory can be easy. The caste equation fits perfectly in his favor. It is possible that the party may also include Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya in its alliance.
BJP strategists know that after the cockroach party's movement, the youth will now vote only after seeing their profit and loss. In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has completely focused on the youth. The government is trying to ensure that the youth get the benefits of various employment related schemes easily so that they do not have to wander. The Chief Minister has visited all the districts of the state. Wherever meetings were held, he also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works.
Now his focus is on wooing the youth through Youth Adda. His meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Nitin Naveen is also part of the election strategy. A large-scale exercise is underway to ensure that students do not have to wander for fee reimbursement and scholarships. The government may soon announce some popular schemes for the youth.
Although in the elections the government will go to the public only on the issue of law and order and development, but to keep the youth with itself, it will soon try to make inroads through the Sangh and its affiliated organizations. The message given by the Sangh chief among the youth has brought a positive message for BJP not only in UP but also in other states. In UP, SP's alliance with Congress is certain, but it remains to be seen which side BSP will take, whereas in Punjab, BJP's alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal is expected to be formed with the latter.
Congress is assuming that it will oust Aam Aadmi Party from power without any alliance, hence it is not even thinking about alliance with anyone, whereas Aam Aadmi Party is cornering BJP by giving edge to the issue of youth. However, BJP has remained weak in Punjab. In such a situation, she can give elder brother status to Akali Dal here.
As far as Goa is concerned, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party will come here compared to BJP. If their alliance happens here, it may be difficult for the BJP, but much cannot be expected from the alliance. Because Punjab elections are also to be held along with this and there Congress feels that it will form the government by defeating AAP, whereas in Uttarakhand there will be a war between Congress and BJP. The Congress, which has been deprived of the pleasure of power twice, is trying to bring the youth along with it in any situation, while the BJP has started planning for the youth on this strategy so that the Congress's intention does not succeed.
