Counting of all 20 rounds of votes has been completed in Bhawanipur seat. From here Suvendu got a total of 73463 votes. Whereas Mamata Banerjee got a total of 58349 votes. That means Mamata Banerjee has lost the election on this seat by a total of 15114 votes. In the last election, Suvendu Adhikari had also defeated Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram seat in Bengal. After this she contested the by-election from Bhawanipur and reached the assembly.
