Bhagwant Mann was stopped at Delhi airport for 3 hours! Also imposed a fine of Rs 50 thousand

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was returning from Paris when he was stopped at Delhi airport late at night. Aam Aadmi Party has made this claim. AAP's media incharge Baltej Pannu has informed that CM Bhagwant Mann had gone to Paris to promote the products of Punjab. On returning from there he was stopped at the airport.

While giving this information, Baltej Pannu targeted the Modi government at the Centre. He said, “The Prime Minister never leaves any opportunity to insult Punjabis. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was detained at the Delhi airport for three hours at night. The reason behind this was that despite the Prime Minister's refusal, why did he go to Paris on the court's order? A fine of Rs 50,000 was imposed on him.”

'Refused even to honor CM Mann in Paris'

Expressing displeasure, Baltej Pannu, General Secretary and Media Incharge of Punjab AAP, said, “First of all, they created obstacles in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's foreign trip. Then they did the same when he returned to Punjab. That too without any concrete reason. They even instructed the Indian Embassy officials not to give Chief Minister Mann the respect and protocol he deserves. Not only this, on his return he was harassed for three hours and then A fine of Rs 50,000 was imposed and this was justified by giving the excuse of 'pressure'. All this happened only because Bhagwant Mann is the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Baltej Pannu further said, “Farmers were kept sitting at the border for one and a half years, many funds of Punjab were also stopped. After this, the Chief Minister of Punjab was not allowed to go abroad not once but four times. The central government does not want the Punjab CM to bring funds from abroad for the benefit of Punjab.”

The party leader said, “CM Mann had gone abroad on the instructions of the High Court. The High Court also said that he can go as per the protocol. Despite this, what happened was that the officials there did not even come to meet CM Mann. The Chief Minister of Punjab went to Paris, so that he could launch Punjab's products in the world's second largest food festival. He had gone to present the Rajma and Chole to the whole world.”

Saurabh Bhardwaj also made a verbal attack on the Center

At the same time, Delhi AAP state president Saurabh Bhardwaj has also posted on social media on this issue. He wrote, “Bhagwant Mann was stopped for about 3 hours at the airport in India. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann went to Paris to present Punjab's products there. This happened when he challenged the central government's decision of not giving NOC. This arrogance of the Center should end. Even Ravana's arrogance had ended on Dussehra.”

AAP media in-charge claimed that the Punjab CM was kept at the airport without talking to him for three hours. To stop them, excuses were made that their luggage was on hold, was about to arrive, and was being checked.

After three hours, when he was told that he could leave now, an officer came from behind and told him that the pressure on him was too much. You will have to file a case and pay some challan. After this a challan of Rs 50 thousand was imposed.

Till date, has it ever happened that the Chief Minister of a state was kept at the airport for three hours and a challan was issued? This happened only because he is the CM of Punjab, is a Punjabi and wants to do something for the betterment of Punjab. The central government does not want Punjab to progress in any matter.
