Kangana Ranaut sought the help of John Abraham

Speaking at the trailer launch of ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata,’ Kangana Ranaut expressed that, the title of her patriotic film was initially ‘Nurses of Cama,’ but after listening to the script, Kangana was so touched by the humanitarian spirit of India that she changed the title of her film to ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata,’ but it was impossible to get that done since John Abraham owned the copyright of that particular title.

Upon hearing this, Kangana did not even waste a second and went on to make a call to the actor. During the trailer launch, Kangana Ranaut quoted saying “I rang up John sir and he gave us the title within one day…and without charging even a single rupee. We are forever indebted to him.”

What is the story behind ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’?

The film is based on a true story and is called Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. It tells the story of a dark night that held the entire city under its spell and how a group of individuals rose to be heroes who saved the lives of 400 people. Kangana Ranaut will be playing a nurse in the film, which will highlight nurses and ward boys.

It will bring forth the tale of the heroes who remained unheard as they sacrificed their all for the nation, during the times when it needed them the most. The film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ will be released in cinemas on June 12, 2026, and is directed by Manoj Taparia, starring Kangana Ranaut.
