Despite consistently excellent performance in domestic cricket and IPL, Bhuvi has not been able to return to Team India. After being out of the team for almost 4 years, Bhuvneshwar has now broken his silence regarding his return to Team India. Recently in an interview, he revealed that he thought that he would soon make a comeback in Team India, but gradually he realized that this would not happen now.

He told that after the New Zealand tour, he felt that he could soon return to the team. According to Bhuvi, he had received a call from the people associated with the team and based on that conversation he felt that he might return to the team soon, but it did not happen.

No hope of return!
Taking his point further, Bhuvi said that after a few series, the time came for him that he was not going to return to Team India. He told that initially he was hopeful of his return, but gradually he stopped waiting for it. He said that he has now moved beyond the period when he used to wait for the next series to make his comeback.

Recalling the difficult phase of being out of the Indian team, Bhuvneshwar Kumar admitted that it was not at all easy for him to accept the fact that he would not be able to return now. His family played a big role in supporting him during this difficult period. During the conversation, Bhuvi also mentioned the T20 World Cup 2022 where India had to face England in the semi-finals. With this defeat, Team India was out of the tournament.
The special thing is that even though Bhuvneshwar Kumar has given up hope of his comeback in Team India, he still has the desire to play for India again.
