Big accident in Bengaluru, 7 laborers from Bihar died due to rock slide in stone mine.

Karnataka:A huge rock suddenly collapsed on Thursday morning in a stone quarry located in Madapatna area of ​​Bengaluru South taluk. Due to this terrible accident, 7 daily wage laborers living in Bihar died tragically on the spot. At the same time, many other workers working in the mine were seriously injured after being buried under the debris.

The accident happened in the morning

According to the information received from the local police, this incident happened early Thursday morning when all the workers were busy in breaking stones and digging in the mine as usual. An eyewitness worker present at the site said that a total of 18 people were working there at the time of the accident. Meanwhile, a very heavy rock part fell directly on the laborers working from a height of about 40 feet. The rock was so huge that the workers standing below did not even get a chance to recover or escape.

Police engaged in investigation

Police have officially confirmed that all the 7 deceased workers were natives of Bihar. Came here to work. The police are now trying to contact their families and inform them about this tragedy. Meanwhile, a case has been registered in the local police station and a thorough investigation has been started. The administration is mainly focusing on how such a big rock slipped. It is also being investigated whether the stone crusher operator ignored the safety standards in the mine or was grossly negligent during the work.

Administration sealed the area

As soon as information about the accident was received, the local administration, police force and relief teams immediately swung into action and reached the incident site. Rescue operation was started immediately to remove the debris. In view of security, the authorities have cordoned off the entire Madapatna crusher area and sealed it.

The injured laborers who were pulled out from under the rock have been admitted to a nearby private hospital via ambulance, where their treatment is continuing under the supervision of doctors.
