Big action by Rajasthan ATS, woman arrested for suspected links with Jaish-e-Mohammed
Jaipur: Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has taken major action in a case related to national security and arrested a woman named Babita. Let us tell you, the woman is suspected to be involved in anti-national activities and a case has been registered against her under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). At present, the court has sent him to police custody for seven days, where he is being continuously interrogated.
The agency was keeping surveillance
According to ATS officials, the woman’s activities were under the agency’s surveillance for some time. During the investigation, such inputs were received which raised concerns about a possible threat to national security. After this the team took action and detained him.

Contact with Jaish-e-Mohammed
Preliminary investigation has revealed some clues that indicate possible contact with people associated with the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). However, the investigating agencies have clarified that the direct connection between the woman and the organization has not been confirmed yet. Officials say that all aspects of the case are being thoroughly investigated and it would not be appropriate to reach any conclusion before the investigation is completed.

ATS has received information about some phone numbers and digital communications which are believed to be related to Pakistan. It is being told that contacts were made through various online platforms and messaging apps. The investigation is being taken forward by connecting this link.
A major challenge faced by the agencies during the investigation was that the woman had deleted a lot of data from her mobile and other digital devices before her arrest. Officials believe that this may have been done with the aim of influencing the investigation.
Forensic team is investigating
Currently, forensic teams are trying to recover the deleted data so that complete information about contacts and activities can be gathered. ATS is now investigating the associates, contacts and digital networks associated with the woman. Officials say that interrogation during police remand can reveal many important information in the case.
