A case of detention of two suspects has come to light from Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) located in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. According to the police, one of them had introduced himself as an official of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). During investigation, it has been claimed that fake identity card of PMO was found from him.
According to the information, the suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Rohan Parekh. It is being told that he was trying to enter the NMACC campus along with another person. The person present with him described himself as his bodyguard and he also had a gun.
Case opened during checking
According to Mumbai Police, the suspect was trying to enter the venue using a fake identity card. During the security check, the police became suspicious about his identity card. Let us tell you, upon investigation, it was revealed that the card was fake, after which the police took both of them into custody. A case has been registered against both the suspects in BKC police station. Now Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating the entire matter. Police are trying to find out what was the motive behind reaching the venue with fake PMO ID and weapons. Along with this, both the suspects have been said to be presented in the Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Mumbai for further legal process.
PM Modi’s program in BKC today
This matter is also considered important because Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program is proposed today at Jio World Center in BKC. PM Modi will inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest 2026 here and also address the event. At present the police and crime branch are interrogating the suspects. Only after investigation will it be clear why both of them tried to reach the venue with fake identity and weapons.
