Patna. There is important news for the students studying in government schools of Bihar. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has said that a plan will be prepared to provide computer education in all government schools from next year. Its objective is to connect children with modern technology along with studies.
One computer instructor in two-three schools
The Chief Minister directed the Education Department to arrange for one instructor in a group of two-three schools to provide regular computer education to the students. He said that in the present times, technical knowledge is an important part of students' education, hence it is necessary to give information about computers to children from the school level itself.
CM reached parent-teacher meeting
The Chief Minister participated in the Parent-Teacher Seminar (PTM) organized at Government Middle School, Ramjichak, Danapur on Saturday. He interacted with students, teachers and parents and took information about studies in the school, students' attendance, examination results and available facilities. The Chief Minister honored the students who performed well. Also their parents were honored as 'Parents of the Month'.
Emphasis on improving the quality of education
CM said that PTM will help in improving the quality of education in schools and ensuring regular attendance of students. Through mutual communication, parents and teachers can understand the problems faced by children in their studies and the need for additional support.
In the program, students were also appealed not to use mobile phones unnecessarily. CM advised children to focus on studies and use technology positively as per need. He also stressed on laying a strong foundation for career right from seventh-eighth class.
