Along with this, the tenure of fielding coach T Dilip has also ended and the Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided not to renew his contract. Ryan ten Doeschate was associated with the Indian team for the last two years. During this time he played an important role in batting and strategic preparations. Ten Doeschate, one of Gautam Gambhir’s close associates, had informed the BCCI about his resignation during the England tour itself. According to reports, now he can again take up new responsibilities with the Knight Riders group.

BCCI has also not extended the contract of fielding coach T Dilip. Subhdeep Ghosh has been appointed as the new fielding coach in his place. The Board believes that changes in the support staff were necessary in view of the new World Test cycle and upcoming international events.
