Indian Padel Tour 2026-27 announced: 19 tournaments will be held in 10 cities of the country, starting from Mumbai

(Padel) A major strategic partnership has been announced for the upcoming 2026-27 season of the Indian Padel Tour (IPT) with an aim to take the sport to a new and modern competitive level. The main objective of this ambitious initiative is to strengthen the professional structure of padel sport within the country, provide world class facilities and provide more and more opportunities to the youth and players to prove themselves at the national level.
Paddle thrill will resonate in 10 cities, starting from August
According to the official information released by the organizers, a total of 19 high-level professional tournaments will be organized under the IPT 2026–27 season. All these matches will be held in 10 major metros and sports hubs of the country. The new session will start grandly in August 2026 from the country’s financial capital Mumbai, while its grand finale is proposed in IT hub Bengaluru in June 2027.
Grand Slams, City Opens and many other prestigious IPT tournaments will take place throughout the season. Along with this, a modern ‘National Padel Ranking System’ has been introduced to objectively evaluate the performance of the players. There are also plans to implement.
The range of paddle is continuously increasing
According to the organisers, the sport has expanded rapidly in the last few years with new paddle courts being built across the country and the number of players increasing. In such a situation, organizing regular competitions at the national level will provide a better platform for players to compete.
Jigar Doshi, co-founder of Paddlepark India, said the Indian Paddle Tour was started with the aim of creating an organized competitive structure for paddle in India. According to him, regular competitions motivate players to improve their game and stay connected to the game for a long time.
Players will get more opportunities
Prateek Doshi, co-founder of Paddlepark India, said the tour aims to advance paddle at a professional level in the country. He said that the new partnership will help in providing better opportunities to the players as well as strengthening the padel ecosystem in the country.
Mercedes-Benz India has been named the title partner of the Indian Padel Tour for the 2026-27 season. Santosh Iyer, managing director and chief executive officer of the company, said the association with sports is part of the company’s vision to promote performance, innovation and engagement with the community.

Competitive structure will get strengthened
Paddlepark India is working on modern courts, training programs and organizing competitions for the development of paddle sport in the country. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz India has completed 30 years of its operations in India in the year 2024. The company has more than 140 sales and service centers in more than 50 cities across the country.
