Big gift from Yogi government before Rakshabandhan! Additional buses will run on the roads for easy travel of sisters

This time on Rakshabandhan, the festival symbolizing the sacred love between brother and sister, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a wonderful gift to the sisters. The government has prepared a solid and comprehensive transport system so that sisters do not have to face any kind of crowd or difficulty in reaching their brothers on the auspicious occasion of the festival. In view of the huge crowd of passengers, the administration seems to be fully prepared.

Additional buses will run from 26 to 31 August

Uttar Pradesh's Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh has issued strict instructions to operate additional buses across the state for six days from August 26 to August 31. With this historic decision of the government, there is full hope that all the passengers traveling during the festival will get a very safe, smooth and comfortable journey.

The Transport Minister says that as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on this special occasion of Rakshabandhan, it is the biggest priority of the government to safely transport all the sisters of the state to their destination. Sensing the sudden increase in the number of passengers before and after the festival, the Transport Corporation has been ordered to put maximum buses on the road with its full capacity. Especially the number of passengers traveling towards Eastern Uttar Pradesh is highest, keeping this in mind, maximum emphasis has been laid on increasing additional bus services on this route. Apart from this, according to the demand of passengers, special buses will also be run for many big and major destinations like the capital Lucknow and Kanpur.

Passengers will get high-class facilities at bus stands

The Yogi government has not only focused its attention on increasing the number of buses, but has also taken full care of the facilities of the passengers coming to the bus stands. Strict instructions have been given to ensure excellent cleanliness, pure water for drinking, adequate lighting and fans in passenger waiting rooms inside all the bus stations and buses of the state.

To ensure that passengers get continuous information about the arrival and departure of buses, a special control room will also be created that will work 24 hours a day. Supervisors will be deployed to keep a constant eye on the heavily crowded bus stations, while senior officers at the depot and regional levels will personally go into the field and monitor the entire system.

Connectivity will be strengthened from Delhi to Purvanchal

Transport Corporation MD Prabhu N. Singh has also instructed all the regional and assistant regional managers to immediately increase the operation of buses as per the situation. Full provision has also been made to relax the rules and restrictions as per need in the operation of buses going from the national capital Delhi to Eastern Uttar Pradesh via Moradabad-Bareilly and from Delhi to Purvanchal via Aligarh-Kanpur.

The sole purpose of this special arrangement is that during these festival days, buses are available on time as per the actual demand of the passengers, so that passengers in the country's capital or on any major route do not have to wait for buses for hours.

Bumper incentive amount for drivers, conductors and employees

The government has also started a special incentive scheme for the transport employees who provide relief to the passengers by continuously providing their services during this busy and festive season of Rakshabandhan. A handsome incentive of Rs 1,200 will be given to eligible drivers and conductors who drive buses for a total of 1,800 kilometers during these six days as per the prescribed terms and conditions. Apart from this, drivers and conductors working on contract will also be given an additional amount of 55 paise per additional kilometer for driving buses more than 1,800 kilometers.

At the same time, the technical employees who register their presence in the depot and regional workshops continuously every day for these six days without any delay will get a one-time incentive bonus of Rs 500. However, to avail the benefit of this scheme for drivers and operators, the load factor of the service will have to be more than 64 percent. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 90 thousand has also been sanctioned to honor and encourage the employees and supervisors who maintain excellent and well-planned arrangements at selected crowded bus stations.
