Another major step has been taken towards further strengthening the strategic relations between India and America. The new US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore held an important meeting with National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Tuesday. Describing the meeting as “meaningful and useful”, Ambassador Gore termed a strong bilateral partnership between India and the US as essential to deal with global security challenges.
Sharing a post on the social media platform 'X', US Ambassador Sergio Gore wrote that the common goals of Washington and New Delhi are continuously taking the relations between the two countries to new heights. “The United States and India share many common goals, and our close partnership with India is essential to addressing global security challenges,” he said.
The meeting comes soon after Ambassador Gore's meeting with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in New Delhi on Monday evening. These back-to-back diplomatic meetings are being seen as a sign of increased dialogue and diplomatic dynamics at the top level between the two countries. The importance of these meetings has increased further after the recent telephone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US Vice President JD Vance.
During the phone call between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US Vice President JD Vance, the two leaders discussed in detail ways to further deepen the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership in key areas such as trade, defence, emerging critical technologies, energy security and critical minerals. Apart from this, both sides also shared their views on various issues related to regional and global development.
