News Desk. There is news of relief for those buying and selling land in Darbhanga, Bihar. The ongoing confusion over land registry regarding Mithila Satellite Township has now been resolved to a great extent. The Urban Development and Housing Department has clarified that the urban land of six acres does not come under the special area of the township. In such a situation, land transactions can be done at these places as per the rules.
These six pleasures got relief
According to the department, the urban lands of Vasudevpur, Beladullah, Gangwada, Govindpur, Balbhadrapur and Belashankar are outside the special area of the township. This is expected to remove the confusion regarding land registry in these areas.
Different rules in Bajitpur
The status of land in Bajitpur is different depending on the police station number. The land of Thana No. 285 is not included in the township, while the land of Thana No. 532 falls in the township area. Therefore, the rules for buying and selling land will be different at both the places.
It is necessary to check documents before registration.
The clarification from the department will make it easier for the registration office to determine the status of the land. However, before purchasing land, it will be necessary to check the related khesra, account, jamabandi, nature of land and other restrictions. The registry of every plot will not automatically be considered valid merely on the basis of Mauza being outside the township.
