Tezzbuzz Desk- Kota City Police of Rajasthan has arrested three main suspects in the case of firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to the police, these include Rehan alias Sukkha of Sonipat, Haryana, Hrithik alias Roshan of Begusarai, Bihar and a minor. Police say that all three were going from Mumbai to Delhi and were planning to escape to Nepal from there. Based on the information received at Kota railway station, the police searched the train and caught all three. Now preparations are being made to hand him over to Mumbai Police after further legal process.
According to Kota SP Tejaswini Gautam, on Monday morning the police had received information that the suspect in the Tiger Shroff firing case was traveling by train and was about to reach Kota. The police team became active as soon as the information was received. When the train reached the station, a search operation was launched and within about 15 minutes the three suspects were taken into custody. All three were traveling in the general coach of Pune-Jaipur Express. According to the police, Rehan alias Sukkha is being said to be the main shooter among the arrested accused. The report states that he is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Information has also come to light that several criminal cases including Arms Act have been registered against him. The second accused, Hrithik alias Roshan, is said to be from Begusarai in Bihar, while the third accused is a minor and is said to be a resident of Sonipat, Haryana. His exact role and relations with others in the case are being investigated.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also confirmed the arrest of the accused and said that they have been caught with the help of Rajasthan Police. According to him, after the firing the accused fled towards Surat and then boarded the Pune-Jaipur train. After tracking their location, Mumbai Police contacted Rajasthan Police, after which action was taken at Kota station. Fadnavis said that after the legal formalities are completed, Mumbai Police will take the accused in their custody and conduct further investigation. He also said that the conspiracy behind the attack and the role of other possible accused will be ascertained. The weapons used in the firing have not been recovered in this case yet. According to SP Tejaswini Gautam, initial inquiry has revealed information about Rehan being in contact with Anil Pandit. The investigating agencies are reportedly probing conversations, messages and location sharing through apps like Signal and Telegram. On the basis of this digital evidence, efforts are being made to understand the planning of the attack and the contacts between the accused.
According to sources related to the investigation, the accused had conducted recce of Tiger Shroff's house and gym for about 10 days. It is being told that information about the actor's movements was collected through videos of paparazzi and bloggers available on social media. It is alleged that Hrithik, while present in Mumbai, had provided necessary help to other suspects, while a minor was also included in the alleged conspiracy. These claims can be confirmed only after police investigation. Currently, Mumbai Police is further investigating the matter. The officials aim to recover the weapons used in the firing, clarify the role of the alleged handler and find out who were behind the incident. After the arrest of the three suspects, now everyone's eyes are on the facts emerging in the investigation.
