According to reports, Jacqueline Fernandes’ lawyer told during the hearing in Patiala House Court that the actress wants to become a government witness in this case. For this he has also made a formal request to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The special thing is that earlier Jacqueline had refused to do so, but now her changed attitude can change the direction of the case.

It is alleged in the case that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given expensive gifts worth crores of rupees to Jacqueline, which included luxury cars, jewelery and designer clothes. Due to accepting these gifts, ED had also considered Jacqueline as a co-accused.

To get relief in this case, Jacqueline Fernandes had also approached the Supreme Court in the year 2025. Now his decision to become a government witness is being considered as a major change in legal strategy.

Many cases against Sukesh

A total of 31 cases are registered against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, out of which he has got bail in 26. However, the hearing of some cases is still going on, due to which their release has not been possible. Apart from money laundering, he is also accused of fraud related to election symbol.
