Khesari had also alleged that actresses say such things only to tarnish the image of Bhojpuri film directors, producers and co-actors and to humiliate them. Anjana Singh’s comment in the podcast and the ‘lack of words’ taunt: On July 3, a podcast of actress Anjana Singh came out, in which her opinion was sought on the same old statement of Khesari. Anjana laughed at this and said, "Khesari ji can say anything. Actually, they want to speak in the right sense, but the output (words) that comes out sounds a bit distorted."

Anjana Singh says that after this statement went live, some staunch supporters of Khesari Lal Yadav started trolling her badly on social media. The trollers not only abused Anjana, but also made very objectionable and lewd comments about her minor daughter, after which Anjana got angry. Anjana alleged that once Khesari’s wife had caught him red handed with another Bhojpuri heroine and at that time Khesari was beaten severely.
