Aam Aadmi Party targeted BJP on this matter. While sharing the video, Aam Aadmi Party wrote on its social media X handle, ‘BJP has made democracy a firing range. The students demanded justice. After the video of the incident went viral on social media, the matter came into limelight and questions were raised on the police action. On the basis of the facts revealed in the preliminary investigation, the police headquarters took immediate suspension action against the concerned constable. Now a departmental inquiry will be conducted into the entire incident, so that it can be made clear whether the firing was done as per the prescribed standards and circumstances or not.

Stone pelting and violent clashes in Bihar Bandh

It is noteworthy that during the Bihar Bandh, there was a lot of ruckus and stone pelting by some anti-social elements during the demonstration in Siwan city on Saturday. Many policemen were injured in stone pelting by the protesters.
