Bharat Tiwari Encounter Case: CM Samrat announced, along with financial help to Bharat Tiwari's family, one member will get a government job.

The inquiry commission formed to investigate the Bharat Tiwari encounter case submitted its interim report. After the report came, the Bihar government has taken an important decision in the interest of the victim's family. The government made it clear that it is trying to provide all possible help and justice to the family of late Bharat Tiwari in view of the facts and suggestions presented by the inquiry commission.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced on Twitter, “Based on the interim report of the judicial investigation, the Bihar government will provide financial assistance to the family of late Bharat Tiwari and a government job to one of the family members.” Earlier on July 24, CM Samrat Chaudhary met the family members of Bharat Tiwari. Assured him of a fair investigation into the case. Samrat Chaudhary shared a picture of Bharat's family members on social media. He had written that the family of late Bharat Tiwari will get justice.

Policeman arrested Akshay

Last July 31, a policeman was arrested in the Bharat Tiwari encounter case. Confirming this development, Arrah Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj informed that the policeman involved in this case, Akshay, has been arrested. SP said that this action has been taken by the joint team of Arrah Police and Special Task Force (STF). Now there will be legal process against the accused. Investigation is ongoing as per law.

Know how Bharat Tiwari died

Bharat Bhushan Tiwari was killed during a police operation in Biloti village in Bhojpur district of Bihar on June 17, 2026. Police claimed that Tiwari had attacked the police team with an illegal weapon. In response to this, he was shot in self-defense. Regarding this attack, the villagers along with the family raised questions on this incident. He alleged that it was a fake encounter.
