Bihar government’s strict order: Strict monitoring started in schools
Patna. The government has taken a big step to improve the education system and increase transparency in the primary schools of Bihar. New instructions have been issued by the Mid Day Meal Directorate, in which strictness regarding students’ attendance and meal distribution has been increased.
Attendance at first bell is mandatory
According to the new order, now it will be mandatory in all schools to mark the attendance of students in the first bell itself. Mid-day meal will be prepared on the basis of this attendance. Attendance recorded later will not be considered valid.
Action will be taken on fake attendance
The instructions clearly state that if attendance is recorded after the first bell, it will be considered fake. In such a situation, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned teachers and responsible personnel.
Strict action against negligence in food distribution
The government has also adopted a strict stance regarding the distribution of eggs and fruits under the mid-day meal scheme. After complaints of children not getting the benefit of the prescribed menu in many schools, inspection and strict monitoring will now be done.
Now direct action will be taken against irregularities
If irregularities are found in attendance or food distribution in any school, it will be considered a serious irregularity. In such cases, direct action will be taken against the responsible employees.
