The State Revenue and Land Reforms Department has given a very strict and pro-people decision regarding the process of rectifying the mistakes made in land confiscation. All work will be done for free at RTPS counter

When a citizen goes to his nearest RTPS counter for correction in his land documents, the employees posted there will have to accept his application. It will be the responsibility of the employee present at the counter to look at the documents of the applicant and make the online entry from his own computer. No fee or service charge of any kind can be taken from the applicant for this entire process. The main objective of the government is that the general public can get the benefits of government services near their homes without any additional financial burden.

Punishment will fall on the personnel sending cyber cafes

The biggest relief given in this new rule is that now no government employee can send any applicant to any private cyber café on the pretext of filling online form or uploading documents. It was often seen that people were sent out on the pretext of crowd at the counter or saying that the server was down, where cyber café owners used to charge arbitrary money. The department has now completely banned it. If any employee sends a citizen out or refuses to accept his application, it will be considered a serious violation of the rules. Strict departmental and disciplinary action will be taken immediately against such careless employees.

The government has given many options to the public to improve the land hoarding so that they do not have to worry. People can apply directly by going to their zonal office or can take the help of RTPS counter. Apart from this, for those who want to use digital medium sitting at home, the facility of ‘Parimarjan Plus’ has also been provided on Bihar Bhoomi Portal. Applications coming through all these different mediums will be registered with complete transparency. The department has given clear instructions to the officials that all the applications received should be disposed of within the stipulated time and as per the rules so that people do not have to make repeated visits to the offices.

These mistakes can be corrected immediately

Under this new system, citizens can easily get many types of errors related to their land corrected. If your name has been entered wrongly in the digital Jamabandi, or there is a mistake in the spelling of your father’s name, then it can be corrected. Along with this, if there is any discrepancy in the details related to account number, khesra number, area or boundary of the land, then application can also be given for its amendment. Many times it happens that the old Jamabandi is not visible on the online portal, the work of offering such missed Jamabandi online will also be done under the same process absolutely free of cost.
