Big update related to NEET UG Re-Exam, active solver gang arrested in Bihar; The deal was done for 40 lakhs
NEET Re Exam: Once again big news is coming out in Bihar regarding the medical entrance exam NEET. Immediately after the conduct of NEET re-exam, a very big solver gang has been busted in Lakhisarai district of the state. Due to the promptness of the administration and police, this entire solver network was destroyed during the examination itself.
Taking major action in this case, the police have so far detained 24 people and they are being continuously interrogated. After this arrest, there is panic in the examination centers and education department of the entire state. Lakhisarai District Magistrate and Police Captain confirmed the entire matter and said that the gang members were planning to create irregularities in the examination, but they were caught in time.
The deal was done for 40 lakhs
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, a deal was made to solve the paper for Rs 40 lakh to pass the examination. Police have arrested 5 medical students including a PMCH student in this case. During the investigation, 9 fake candidates were caught from three examination centres, who were appearing in the examination in place of genuine candidates. Police suspect that an interstate solver gang is working behind this. The investigating agencies are now investigating other members of this network and its far-flung wires.
Employees of biometric company are also under suspicion
The most shocking thing that has come to light in this entire matter is that the people of the biometric company which ensures security and identity in the examination were also in collusion with this solver gang. The police have taken into custody more than a dozen staff of the biometric company conducting the examination. The police are closely interrogating all these employees to find out what was the level of their nexus with the Solver Gang. This has become a very serious matter of investigation because if the people doing biometric verification are involved in this fraud, then big questions arise on the integrity of the examination. The police is trying to find out how much money was lured to these employees.
Mastermind Arpit Raj arrested
The arrested accused also include five students belonging to the medical sector who were trying to take the exam in place of others. This also includes Mayank Kashyap, a third year student of Patna Medical College Hospital i.e. PMCH, who has been arrested by the police. Apart from this, the main accused Arpit Raj, who operated this entire solver gang, has also been caught by the police.
Old track record has also been tainted
Arpit Raj’s past track record has also been tainted. In the year 2024, when the NEET exam paper was leaked and the matter went to CBI, then CBI called Arpit Raj and interrogated him for a long time. Arpit Raj is associated with ANMCH Medical College, Gaya. Along with this, a nursing student of BHU has also been arrested who was appearing in the examination in place of another student.
Despite the ban, solvers came out of the campus
The administration was already very cautious regarding this examination. The government and the health department were apprehensive that medical college students could become solvers. This was the reason why students of all the medical colleges of Bihar, including PMCH of Patna, were strictly prohibited from going out of the campus between 2 pm to 5 pm on the day of the examination.
Police busy connecting the links of the racket
The Health Department had issued instructions that during this period, activities like seminars and quiz competitions should be organized inside the college campus so that students cannot go out. Despite this strict instruction, the members of the Solver Gang came out on the pretext and went to crack the examination. At present, the police is busy sending all the 24 accused to jail and connecting the remaining links of this racket.
