BJP leader Ram Sharan Nautiyal joins Congress, Kumari Shailaja taunts – 'He himself saw what is going on in BJP'

Congress leader Kumari Selja targeted BJP over Ram Sharan Nautiyal joining Congress. He said that Nautiyal has himself seen how things are going within the BJP. Shailaja also raised questions on the Uttarakhand government regarding corruption, women's safety and justice in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. Also, he accused the central government of dictatorship on the issue of SIR process.

Tezzbuzz Desk – Congress leader Kumari Shailaja, while reacting to Ram Sharan Nautiyal joining Congress, targeted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that Ram Sharan Nautiyal has himself seen how things are going within the BJP. According to Shailja, Nautiyal is happy to return to his old party and ideology.

Kumari Shailaja said, “He has himself seen how things are going within the BJP. He will tell you about it himself. He is really happy to be back in his old party and his ideology.” He also invited people who believe in the ideology of Congress and trust leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge to join the party.

Taking aim at the BJP government of Uttarakhand, Kumari Shailja said that there is huge resentment among the people of the state against the government. He alleged that fraud is taking place in the name of investment and people are not getting justice. According to him, there is an atmosphere of chaos everywhere in the state.

Raising the issue of women's safety, Shailaja said that no woman, be it a daughter, sister or daughter-in-law, is safe in Uttarakhand. He also alleged that corruption is rampant in the state.

The Congress leader also raised questions on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process being run by the Election Commission to improve the voter list. He alleged that dictatorship is going on in the country.

According to Shailja, when the opposition alliance INDIA and the common people tried to take out a peaceful protest march, the government turned Delhi into a fortress. He alleged that the police did not allow the protesters to reach the Election Commission (ECI) office and only 10 leaders were allowed to meet the President.

He said that Rahul Gandhi has already expressed concern about the democracy of the country. Shailaja also claimed that two senior Election Commission officials had raised objections to the modalities of the SIR process.

Kumari Shailaja raised the issue of the famous Ankita Bhandari murder case of Uttarakhand and demanded a fair investigation. He said that strict action should be taken against those involved in irregularities in the matter.

Shailaja accused the BJP government of protecting Dushyant Gautam and questioned why the government failed to provide justice to Ankita Bhandari's family. He alleged that instead of providing proper assistance to the victim's family, he was taken into custody.

Uttarakhand Congress President Ganesh Godiyal also criticized the way the case was handled. He questioned the claims that the accused have already been punished.

Godiyal said, “Action has been taken only against small people. This is an attack on the self-respect of the people of Uttarakhand. They should tell why the CBI has not investigated who that VIP was.”

Congress leaders reiterated their demand for investigation into the role of the alleged VIP in the Ankita Bhandari murder case and justice to the victim's family.
