Shribhoomi- Giving the message of humanity and social service, a voluntary blood donation program was organized at Karimganj Civil Hospital in Shribhoomi district on Saturday, 19 September. Karimganj MP Kripanath Malah himself donated blood in the program and called upon people to come forward for voluntary blood donation. After donating blood, MP Kripanath Malah said that blood donation is not only a great service but also an important means of saving the life of a needy person.
He appealed to healthy and able citizens to donate blood voluntarily on regular basis. District BJP President Sanjeev Banik, Ashish Nath, Biju Banik, Chiravrat Acharya and Mahila Morcha President Smt. Jyotika Dey and other BJP workers and dignitaries were present in the program.
On this occasion, lamps were lit to pay homage to Zubin and floral tributes were offered. Those present also prayed for the peace of Zubin's soul. Through the program, the common people were made aware about blood donation and the message “Donate blood, save life” was given.
