Ingredients
2 cups dosa batter
3 to 4 tablespoons ghee
2 to 3 tablespoons dosa podi
Oil as required
Butter (optional)
Recipe
Shake the dosa batter once well. Heat a tava and spread a light amount of oil or ghee on it.
Put a large spoonful of batter on the tava and spread a round thin dosa and let it cook on medium flame.
Podi dosa is not very thin so keep it slightly thick.
Leave ghee evenly on the edges and top of the dosa, so that the dosa will be nicely crispy.
Spread the dosa podi evenly on the dosa. Make sure that the podi is spread all over.
When the bottom of the dosa is golden in color and crispy, fold it lightly.
Remove the hot dosa on a plate. If you like, you can put a little ghee or butter on top.
Serve Ghee Podi Dosa with coconut chutney, tomato chutney or sambar.
