Breaking: Gujarat ATS’s major operation: 8 suspected Jaish terrorists arrested from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh

Gujarat ATS Arrests 8 Terrorists: Gujarat ATS has achieved great success in an operation. Eight suspects belonging to the banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were arrested from various districts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. They are in Gujarat terrorist Jaish-e-Mohammed was working to establish an active network to carry out operations. According to Gujarat ATS, a case has been registered against all eight accused under Sections 13, 17, 18, 38, 39 of UAPA and Sections 148, 61 of CrPC.

The arrested terrorists include Ahmed Abdullah Ghaziwala, Ibrahim Mohammad Hussain Ghagha, Mudassir Abdullah Ghaziwala, Zakaria Durrani, Mufti Faujan, Mohammad Amin Shera, Mohammad Abdul Rehman Sauda and Bilal Mohammad.

Gujarat ATS has arrested two accused in connection with anti-national conspiracy. According to ATS, the accused were motivated by radical ideology through social media and were plotting to establish ‘Gazwa-e-Hind’ in the country. According to ANI reports, both the accused have been sent to 11-day police custody.

A day earlier, Delhi Police’s Special Squad busted a terror and arms network backed by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and arrested four suspects. Three suspects were arrested from Punjab and one from Delhi. The accused were tasked by their handlers to raid religious places and police establishments in Delhi.

Planning to carry out terrorist activities in Delhi

The arrested suspects have been identified as Shubdeep Singh alias Vishal (23), Gurjant Singh alias Rishi (22), Sajan Singh alias Honey (28) and Gaganpreet (24), officials said. The police said that the accused were plotting to carry out terrorist activities in Delhi at the behest of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI agent Shehzad Bhatti and his accomplices.
