Off to a bang
The Indian team started the match with a bang. In the 6th minute, the Indian team opened their account with a goal scored by Abhishek. But because there were more than 11 players on the field, Harmanpreet Singh was shown a yellow card. He had to sit out for 5 minutes. The Belgian team tried to score in several penalty shootouts. But the Indian players did not score a single goal against Belgium. Belgium failed to score a single goal in the first session.

Belgium regained the lead in the 57th minute thanks to Nicolas de Kerpel's goal. With just seconds left in the match, India's captain scored to level the match at 3-3.
