South Korean fast-food chain Lotteria is set to expand its presence in Singapore with the launch of a second outlet at Jurong Point in July, bringing its signature burgers to customers in the western part of the island.

The announcement comes five months after the brand made its Singapore debut with an outlet at Jewel Changi Airport.

The chain’s popular offerings include Ria’s bulgogi burger, made with a beef patty topped with sweet and savory bulgogi sauce, and Ria’s shrimp burger, featuring a shrimp patty paired with tartar and Thousand Island sauces, Channel News Asia reported.

Founded in 1979, Lotteria is widely recognized as South Korea’s first homegrown hamburger chain. Over the decades, it has expanded its footprint and now has more than 1,600 outlets worldwide.

Singapore became Lotteria’s eighth international market through a partnership with lifestyle and F&B operator Katrina Group, which manages the brand’s local operations.

All Lotteria restaurants in Singapore are currently pork- and lard-free.
