70% battery in 5 minutes charging: technological revolution
This new flash charging technology from BYD supports 1000V DC charging. The company claims that with the help of this technology the vehicle’s battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes. At the same time, it takes only 9 minutes for the battery to be filled up to 97%. The company plans to install 20,000 such high-voltage charging stations in China by the end of 2026.
Tire can be changed without jack: air bouncing technology
The biggest feature of these models is their Yunian-P Ultra (DiSus-P) suspension system. It is the world’s first all-scenario intelligent hydraulic body control system.
- Driving on three wheels: In case of tire burst or any emergency, this car can also run balanced on three wheels.
- No need of jack: This system can lift any one wheel of the vehicle up to 300mm, due to which there is no need of jack to change the tyre.
- 9 Ton Lifting Capacity: This suspension is capable of lifting up to 9 tonnes of weight, making it one of the strongest off-road SUVs in the world.
Unique combination of power and range
Bao 8 has a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, which generates power of 550 kW (about 748 hp) and torque of 760 Nm. This huge SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. With a fully charged battery and full tank, its total range goes up to 1380 kilometers.
