Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 4 – Release time, new content and everything you need to know
Call of Duty fans are gearing up for another major content drop as Activision prepares to launch Season 4 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The upcoming update is set to introduce fresh multiplayer content, new weapons, additional operators, battle pass rewards, and potential map additions across both titles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 4 Release Date and Time
Activision has confirmed that Season 4 will officially launch on June 4. Based on the publisher’s standard update schedule, the new season is expected to go live at 9 AM PT, 12 PM ET, and 5 PM BST across all platforms. Players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will receive the update simultaneously.
Pre-downloads for the update are expected to become available before launch, allowing players to install the patch ahead of release and jump into the action as soon as servers go live.
What to Expect in Season 4
As with previous Call of Duty seasonal updates, Season 4 will bring a brand-new Battle Pass packed with cosmetic rewards, weapon blueprints, operator skins, XP boosts, and unlockable weapons. The update is also expected to introduce new challenges, limited-time events, and seasonal progression rewards.
The latest post-launch story cinematic reveals Karma confronting Leon Rook, a newly introduced Guild operator who is expected to headline the Season 4 Battle Pass. The heavily armored operator features a distinctive helmet design and appears to be carrying a weapon resembling the fan-favorite AN-94 assault rifle from Black Ops 2. This has sparked speculation that the iconic weapon could return as a Battle Pass unlock.
New Multiplayer Content
While Treyarch has yet to reveal the complete multiplayer roadmap, Season 4 is expected to deliver new maps, game modes, playlists, and challenges. Data miners have reportedly discovered references to several classic maps within the game’s files, including Dig, Vertigo, and Launch. These locations originally appeared in earlier Black Ops titles and could make a return during the new season.
If the leaks prove accurate, longtime fans can look forward to revisiting some of the franchise’s most memorable multiplayer battlegrounds.
Warzone Season 4 Changes
Warzone players can expect the seasonal refresh to bring balance changes, gameplay adjustments, new limited-time modes, and fresh rewards tied to the Season 4 Battle Pass. Activision has not yet unveiled the full list of Warzone additions, but more details are expected closer to launch.
New seasonal updates traditionally introduce new points of interest, weapon balancing, and event-based content designed to keep the battle royale experience fresh throughout the season.
Season 4 Battle Pass and Operators
The Season 4 Battle Pass is expected to feature a mix of free and premium rewards, including operator skins, weapon blueprints, calling cards, emblems, COD Points, and XP tokens. Leon Rook is widely expected to serve as one of the featured operators for the season following his appearance in official promotional material.
Additional operator bundles and store content will likely be released throughout the season as part of Activision’s ongoing live-service support model.
