Police has disclosed the case of murder of a girl in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the lover along with his three associates called the girl with money and jewelery and later murdered her. The girl's body was left on the roof of the tube well. On the basis of other clues including headphones found from the incident site, the police have arrested four accused including the lover.
According to the police, the main accused Sameer was in need of money. A few days ago, he had also borrowed Rs 8,000 from the girl. He was aware that the committee's money and jewelery were kept in the girl's house. After this, Sameer along with his associates Arsad, Amit and Arsalan planned to get money and jewellery. On Sameer's advice, the girl left the house with Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand 100 in cash and gold and silver jewellery. Police investigation also revealed that before leaving the house, he had made his elder sister unconscious by giving her intoxicants and had locked the room from outside.

According to the police, after the girl left the house, the accused took her near Fateh Singh's farm. There she was made unconscious by strangulation with the scarf around her neck. After this, Sameer stabbed him on the neck with a knife. The girl died due to serious injuries. After the murder, the accused tried to dispose of the body and destroy the evidence. According to the police, during this time the light of a vehicle fell there. Due to this the accused got scared and abandoned the plan of destroying the body and ran away leaving it on the roof of the tube well.
The accused had also removed the girl's clothes and slippers to identify her and destroy evidence. The bag containing money and jewelery was also taken into their possession. Police investigation has revealed that after removing the SIM from the mobile, clothes, slippers and bags were thrown on fire in the bushes along the old railway line.
Dead body found on the roof of tube well
The body of the girl was found on the roof of a tube well in Ashok Nagar area of Kasganj on Wednesday. After the information, police and forensic team reached the spot. During the investigation, many important evidences were collected from the spot. The headphones found among them also became an important clue for the police. The police started connecting links of other evidence including the girl's exit from the house, her mobile and contact with the accused. As the investigation progressed, the police reached the accused.

Four arrested including lover
Apart from the main accused Sameer, the police have arrested Arsad, Amit and Arsalan in the case. According to the police, during interrogation, it has come to light that the girl was murdered to grab money and jewellery. The post mortem report has not confirmed the rape of the girl. The police have also claimed to have recovered items related to the case at the behest of the accused. Based on the interrogation of the four accused, the police are investigating other aspects of the incident.
