Canal road is a risk for villagers and pedestrians
Ambedkar Nagar.
The plight of the road built on the canal track is such that at many places there are one foot deep pits, but those responsible have gone into deep sleep with blindfolds and ice on their heads. Any responsible officer, be it the Public Works Department or the Canal Department, is not concerned with the problems of the common people.
The government keeps giving instructions regarding road and development works every day, but the officials of Ambedkar Nagar do not fall on deaf ears. Like a blind and deaf person, these officers neither understand the need to see nor to hear.
Similarly, the road built from Jamunipur to Aria on the track of Sharda Sahayak Canal is also a victim of departmental neglect. Nowadays, thousands of people from rural areas travel on this road and continue to suffer the brunt of departmental neglect.
Let us tell you that the road built on the northern track of the canal from Jamunipur to Ariya Bazar has been suffering from departmental neglect for a long time, due to which the villagers, farmers and travelers from remote areas are directly suffering the consequences. In this road, in this distance of 5 kilometers, about hundreds of potholes have been formed and at some places the road has completely collapsed and sunken in. Keeping in view the interest of the general public, it is absolutely necessary to get this road rebuilt.
