Fresh complaint filed against Congress’s Meenakshi Natarajan in Telangana
A fresh complaint has been registered in Telangana against Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan in connection with a private case filed by a woman in the Public Representatives Court.
The same woman had earlier filed cases/complaints at Panjagutta Police Station in Hyderabad, Telangana, and also at a police station in Karnataka, alleging that Congress leader Kambham Shivakumar Reddy from Narayanpet district was harassing her. She said she would file more cases against other Congress leaders as well.
Later, in 2025, she filed a private case in a Nampally court in Hyderabad. Based on her complaint against a total of seven individuals, the court issued notices.
Natarajan’s RS nomination rejected
Those who received notices from the court included Meenakshi Natarajan, Kambham Shivakumar Reddy, his niece and Narayanpet MLA Chittem Parnika Reddy, district president Prashant Reddy, minister Vakiti Srihari, Telangana PCC president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Abhijay Reddy.

Natarajan lost an opportunity to be elected to the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh when her nomination papers were rejected on the grounds of concealing information about the case in her affidavit.
However, the Nampally court recently dismissed the woman’s case, stating that the matter did not fall within its jurisdiction and advised her to file the case in the Public Representatives Court instead. Following this direction, the woman filed a petition in the Public Representatives Court. In her petition, she once again included Natarajan as a respondent. The court is expected to begin hearing the petition soon.
What woman said
Speaking to The Federal Telanganathe woman said that her case file had been transferred from the Nampally Court to the Public Representatives Court. She said, “I have again filed complaints against the same number of people whom I had complained against earlier. I am going to file complaints against two more Congress leaders — MLC Balmoori Venkat and former MLA Vamsichand Reddy.”
According to her, she intends to file complaints against Venkat and Vamsichand because they allegedly made allegations and conducted a defamatory campaign against her.
