CBI has registered an FIR in this case.
CBI has registered an FIR in this case on Monday following the order of Bombay High Court. CBI's FIR includes many irregularities and allegations ranging from gang rape and murder to evidence tampering, alteration in police records and Disha's mobile phone.
Which names are discussed in the FIR?
According to a report, it has been said in the FIR that the main crime related to Disha's death, the alleged criminal conspiracy, the alleged false suicide story which was later created and publicized and the alleged suppression, destruction or manipulation of evidence is necessary to be investigated.
The people on whom investigation has been said in this case include Aditya Thackeray, Rohan Roy, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi, Aditya Thackeray's bodyguard, Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Sachin Waje, Parambir Singh, then DCP Vishal Thakur, Uddhav Thackeray, Anil Deshmukh, API Ashok Deodhe, PI Jagdev Kalapad, PI Shailendra Nagarkar, PI Chimaji Adhav, PI Arjun Rajane and concerned of Malwani police station. Names of officers are included.
In this FIR, the names of senior SIT members including Sushil Kumar Yadav and Shivmurad Gautam alias Munna, Preeti Rane, Praveen Rane, Ankita Satur, Indranil Vaidya, Deep Ajmera, Himanshu Shikhare, Resha Padwal, Satwant Singh, Naved Mujawar and Priyesh Rane and those senior police officers under whose supervision the case was earlier investigated are also included in the FIR. Other unknown people have also been included in the FIR.
Disha's father had recorded his statement on Friday
CBI had recorded the statement of Disha Salian's father Satish Salian on Friday. After this FIR was registered. After recording his statement, Disha Salian's father had said – I have given my statement to the CBI, you will know about it tomorrow. I have talked about the people who were involved in this matter. On Monday, Disha's father told that he came to know that an FIR has been registered.
What information did Satish Salian's lawyer give?
Satish Salian's lawyer Nilesh Ojha had told on Friday that Disha's father has also given information in his statement which he had not told in the Bombay High Court. Nilesh also told the main points of Disha's father's statement. According to him, “The main points of the statement were that Disha Salian was gang-raped and then murdered, and that an attempt was made to conceal the crime, in which some police officers of that time were also involved.”
Disha Salian said goodbye to the world at the age of 24
Disha Salian died at the age of 24. Disha died after falling from the 12th floor of a building in Malad. Malwani police had registered an accidental death report in connection with this incident. At the same time, after the investigation, it was concluded that Disha's death was due to suicide and no evidence of foul play was found in it. The Special Investigation Team formed by the state government in December 2023 also did not find any evidence of any foul play in Disha's death.
