CBI makes first arrest from Jaipur in NEET UG paper leak

Neet exam cancel: According to information received from sources, CBI has started its first major action in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case. The investigating agency has detained a person from Jamvaramgarh area of ​​Jaipur, whose two sons are said to be doctors by profession. After receiving a written complaint from the Education Ministry of the Central Government, CBI has registered an FIR in this entire matter. In this case, serious allegations like criminal conspiracy, cheating, theft and destruction of evidence have been made under sections of the Indian Justice Code. Besides, Prevention of Corruption Act and Public Examination Prevention of Unfair Means Act 2024 have also been included in it.

Neet exam cancelled: Scope of intensive investigation by CBI

Considering the seriousness of the case, CBI has increased the scope of investigation. It has come to light in the complaint that some confidential documents were leaked even before the examination conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 3, 2026. After the inputs received by NTA, questions have been raised on the fairness of the examination. CBI has now formed several special teams which are visiting different states of the country and trying to reach the roots of this scam. The main objective of the agency is to expose all those institutions and people who are the masterminds behind this fraud.

Medical student from Nashik detained

Neet exam cancel: The agencies have got another major success during the investigation. A young man named Dr. Shubham Khairnar has been arrested from Nashik, Maharashtra. The surprising thing is that Shubham himself is a medical student and is studying the last year of Ayurveda i.e. BAMS from a college in Bhopal. With his arrest it has become clear that this network of paper leaks is spread in a very professional manner and future doctors are also included in it. At present CBI is interrogating Shubham to gather information about other members of this network.
