CBPL Premier League: Elite Star and Spartan Club won the quarter-finals and made it to the last four.
Ayodhya, Amrit Thoughts: In the Anit Singh Memorial Rule Out (CBPL) Premier League T-10 cricket competition on Saturday, Elite Star and Sporton Club won the quarter-finals and made it to the last four. Chief guest BJP leader Neeraj Kannaujiya introduced the players and boosted their enthusiasm.
The second quarter final of the ongoing Night CBPL competition was played between the Elite Star and Freedom Fighter teams at the Sky Stadium in Riqabganj. Batting first, Elite scored 58 runs with the help of Huhgautam’s 30 runs, losing five wickets in the stipulated overs. Freedom’s Asif bowled brilliantly and took three wickets. In reply, while batting, Freedom team was reduced to 48 runs and Elite Star entered the semi-finals. In the third quarter-final, the Giant team, playing first, scored 53 runs thanks to Manoj’s 14 runs. In reply, the Spartan team came to bat with a target of 54 runs to win and entered the last four by winning the match with five wickets remaining. On this occasion, director Syed Subhani, Dr. Rajneesh, organizing chairman Deependra Srivastava, Shubh, Ayat, Majeed, Prince and other sports lovers were present.
