CBSE declared 10th second board result, check your marksheet like this

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of Class 10th 2nd Board Exam 2026 on its official website. Lakhs of children were waiting for the results. This examination was conducted between 15 to 21 May. The board said that including the results of the main and second board examinations of 2026, the total pass percentage was 96.78%.

 

The board wrote on its official website, ‘Results of Class 10 exams 2026 (after second board exam) and Results of Class 12 exams 2026, including results after re-evaluation/verification are now available.’

Any student can check the result on CBSE website at cbseresults.nic.in. Apart from this, the result is also available on DigiLocker and Umang app. After visiting DigiLocker website, students will first have to enter their roll number. After this you will have to choose the class. After filling the admit card ID and date of birth, the result will be in front of you as soon as you click on the summit button.

Why is CBSE conducting exams twice?

According to CBSE, a total of 6,64,027 had registered for the 10th class second board examination. Of these, 6,63,777 students took part in the second board examination. The purpose of this examination is to give you a chance to improve your result in the main examination.
 
Let us tell you that under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE is conducting the board examination for class 10th twice. The main examination was held from 17 February to 11 March 2026. The second examination was conducted between May 15 and May 21. The board says that 59.95 percent improvement is visible in the second board examination.

 

  • Registered students-  6,64,027
  • Students appearing in the examination- 6,63,777
  • Students appearing for exam to improve marks- 5,13,955
  • Whose marks improved-3,08,095 (59.95%)

 

What was the benefit of the second exam?

  • About 5.14 lakh students appeared for the second exam to improve their marks.
  • Result- The marks of about 3.08 lakh i.e. 59.95% students were better than before.
  • 52.40% students who appeared for compartment exam passed. Last year this figure was 48.68%.
  • The better performance of both the examinations will be included in the final results.

 

School wise results will be sent on email

CBSE said that school-wise results will also be sent to the schools on their registered email addresses. Schools can also access digital academic documents of their students through the repository using the credentials already provided by CBSE. Students of CBSE affiliated schools abroad will also be able to check their results and digital academic documents through DigiLocker.

 

The board further informed that the printed mark sheets and passing certificates of regular students will be given through their schools. Private students will be given digital academic documents through DigiLocker. Printed documents will be sent to their registered address. However, private candidates falling under Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Office can collect their printed documents from the examination centers from where they appeared.
