‘Ceasefire is over’, Trump’s ‘bloody eyes’ in continuous attacks in Hormuz, this time America’s ground campaign in Iran?

The ‘oil artery’ strait of Hormuz is on fire due to continuous Iranian attacks. America attacked Khamenei’s country again to ‘teach’ Tehran. Iran also responded. US President Donald Trump is angry in this situation. He announced the end of the ceasefire with Tehran. And he won’t waste time.

The US-led NATO summit began in Ankara, Turkey on Tuesday. The US President is there. Speaking there on Wednesday, he said, “Iran’s leaders are very low and depraved. We don’t want to enter into any kind of talks with Tehran. The MoU signed with Iran three weeks ago is over. We don’t want to have any more relationship with them.” In Trump’s words, “Iranian leaders are very cruel and violent. If they had nuclear weapons, they would use them.” After the US President’s ‘bloody eye’, the question is, is Washington planning a ground campaign in Iran?

America has a history of ground operations by sending troops to several countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan. But will it be easy for America to enter Iran? According to experts, a ground operation in Iran right now could be risky for Washington. When America sent troops to Iraq in 2003, the situation was different. Iraq was weakened by the long war and sanctions. The back of the country’s army was broken. But the situation in Iran is completely different. Iran is a much bigger country, more population and their military infrastructure is also much more organized and advanced. Not only that, there is also the danger of war spreading on many ‘fronts’ if an attack is carried out inside Iran. Armed organizations such as Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Houthis will stand by Iran. On the other hand, such wars are very expensive. The cost could be hundreds of billions of dollars. Due to this, the American economy may also be under pressure.

Incidentally, Iran has been accused of breaking the peace agreement and attacking the Strait of Hormuz again. They allegedly fired on three ships on Monday and Tuesday. Because of this, the angry America started a series of attacks on Iran. According to Iranian media reports, US forces attacked areas such as Sirik, Kesham, and Bandar Abbas. Washington claims that they have carried out military operations in about 80 places in Iran. Shortly thereafter, Tehran targeted US bases scattered across the Middle East. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it has carried out drone-missile attacks on key US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. A total of 85 US military installations were targeted. Not only that, the US Fifth Fleet headquarters and the Ali Al-Salem air base in Kuwait were also damaged in the strike.
