Celina Jaitley will return to the big screen after 14 years, will make a comeback with Sister Nivedita’s biopic

The actress was last seen in a cameo role in the film ‘Will You Marry Me’ in 2012, after which she stayed away from the film world. Now after about 14 years, she is making a comeback through a very special and historical project.
Will play the role of sister Nivedita in the biopic
According to reports, Celina Jaitley will soon be seen playing the important role of Sister Nivedita in director Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s biopic. The film will be based on the life of great spiritual personality and philanthropist Sister Nivedita, who is known as the chief disciple of Swami Vivekananda.
‘This is the most personal journey of my career’
Regarding this project, Celina Jaitley said that this is the most personal and emotional experience of her career so far. He told that preparing himself mentally and emotionally for this character has been a different journey for him.
According to the actress, working with director Ram Kamal Mukherjee is a very special experience for her, because in this project one has to try not only to act but to live the spirit of that period.
Deep connection with sister Nivedita
Celina also told that she has read and known about Sister Nivedita for a long time. He said that he never imagined that he would get a chance to play this historical character in the future.
Who was Sister Nivedita
Sister Nivedita was born Margaret Noble in Ireland in 1867. Later in 1898, Swami Vivekananda named her ‘Nivedita’. She is known for women empowerment and social work and has a special place in Indian history.
Regarding her comeback and this character, Celina said that returning to India after spending years in Europe and reconnecting with her roots has been a very emotional experience for her. He described it as a “calling-like” experience and said that it is not just a role but a spiritual journey.
