New Delhi, Oct 8:
The Centre has rejected Elon Musk’s allegation that Starlink is being blocked in India by “certain oligarchs” to protect a “monopolistic chokehold”, calling the claim “baseless and misconceived”.
The Communications Ministry said Starlink and two other licensed satellite communication operators are at broadly the same regulatory stage and are undergoing mandatory security assessments before seeking spectrum allocation.
