CEO’s statement on TCS Nashik case – ‘Nida Khan is not HR, news of unit closure is wrong’
New Delhi. For the first time, the company has given a detailed clarification on the controversy related to Nashik-based BPO unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). CEO of the company. Krithivasan (CEO K. Krithivasan) has said that accused Nida Khan has no connection with the company’s recruitment process or HR and the Nashik unit is fully operational.
What is the whole matter?
Eight employees (seven women and one man) of Nashik BPO unit have accused six employees of the company of sexual harassment, hurting religious sentiments and forced conversion. In this case, the police have so far registered nine FIRs and six accused have been arrested.

Krittivasan made it clear in a letter sent to employees:
Nida Khan has nothing to do with HR or recruitment process
He was not even placed in any leadership role
The news of closure of Nashik unit is completely wrong.
Special arrangements made for investigation
The company has engaged the independent team of Deloitte for an impartial investigation of the matter. The investigation is being monitored by TCS President and COO Aarti Subramanian.
Apart from this, an oversight committee has also been formed, which is headed by Keki Mistry.
Complaint was not received on POSH channel
According to the company, upon initial investigation no such formal complaint was registered on its POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) channels.
Nida Khan still absconding, reached court
The main accused in the case, Nida Khan, is currently said to be absconding. However, she has recently filed a petition in the court demanding relief, saying she is pregnant. Investigation into his claims is ongoing.

Investigative agencies are busy searching for the accused, while the company has made it clear that it will take action in the matter with complete transparency and strictness.
