Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani starrer romantic drama ‘Chand Mera Dil’ has made a very weak collection of only ₹ 1 crore at the box office on the eighth day of its release (Friday). The pace of this film, made under the banner of Dharma Productions, has now become slower than a tortoise and it is finding it very difficult to get its budget out of the theatres.
Total earning of first week
The film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ had a good start. The film earned up to Rs 3 crore on the opening day. If we talk about the first weekend, the film has earned only Rs 8 crore. The net collection of the first week was also Rs 19.45 crore. The collection on the 8th day has reached 20.45 crores. If we talk about worldwide gross collection, the film has so far collected around Rs 26-27 crores.

Budget and success estimates of the film
According to trade reports, the total budget of the film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ including its promotion and cast is around Rs 30 crores. The gross collection is also between Rs 26-26 crores. Accordingly, the film may take the coming week to cover its budget. However, the film is being considered a ‘commercial failure’ at the box office.
