Charlie Kirk’s family says evidence should not be kept from the public

Charlie Kirk’s death is approaching its first anniversary and his family has pushed for key evidence to be made public.

The right-wing conservative politica activist was assassinated during a University event in Utah in September 2025.

The prime suspect of the case, Tyler Robinson, is currently going through the preliminary hearings of the case.

The victim’s family attorney has argued that transparency is essential to maintaining confidence in the justice system.

Judge Tony Graf issued orders that an edited version of Lance Twiggs’ interview with investigators and other evidence is to be shown in court by Thursday morning, as per the Associated Press.

Jeffrey Neiman, who is the attorney representing Charlie’s widow Erika and his parents, spoke in the court clarifying their position.

He said “The Kirk family believes strongly that if the evidence is being admitted in this preliminary hearing, it should be made public for the world to see.”

“To not be transparent here, to not be open, to not let the world see what happened, will create doubt and distrust in the judicial system.”

The late activist passed away after he was shot on September 10, 2025.
