Preparation of Gaganyaan mission and space station

Referring to India’s space programmes, Prime Minister Modi said that the country is preparing for its first human space flight mission “Gaganyaan”.

He said that India is also working towards the goal of setting up its own space station in the future. To make the Gaganyaan mission successful, a plan is also being worked on to establish a space tracking terminal on Cocos (Keeling) Islands of Australia. PM Modi said that India is continuously making new achievements in the space sector and this sector will become an important part of the country’s strength in the coming years.

India’s achievements in 5G and startups

Referring to India’s digital progress, PM Modi said that India has become the second largest 5G market in the world. He said that technology and innovation are expanding rapidly in the country.

He said that India has emerged as the third largest startup ecosystem in the world. The youth of the country are making their mark at the global level through new ideas and technology.

Mentioned about Operation Sindoor

In his address, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned India’s policy against terrorism. Referring to Operation Sindoor, he said that the whole world heard its echo.

PM Modi said that terrorism is not the problem of just one country, but it is a threat to the entire humanity. He said that countries like India and Australia are facing this challenge together. Referring to global tensions, he said that any dispute can be resolved only through dialogue and diplomacy.

New strength to India-Australia relations

During Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Australia, many important agreements were signed between the two countries. These also include an agreement related to uranium export, which is expected to strengthen India’s clean energy campaign.

Apart from this, India and Australia will together develop “Critical Minerals Corridor” for important minerals. This is being considered a big step towards increasing strategic and economic cooperation between the two countries. Both the countries have prepared a roadmap to take bilateral trade to US $ 100 billion by 2030.
